We’re always happy to offer you planting advice here at Bumbles, but why not visit a formal garden this summer for some inspiration in planting up your own garden. Lots of National Trust properties have wonderful gardens, including our own local Sissinghurst Castle Gardens and the National Garden Scheme has details of all kinds of private gardens opening up to the public for charity.

Here are some photos of our Plant Manager, Ross’, recent visit to Kingston Lacy, a National Trust property in Dorset. With a wide range of interesting sections such as an Kitchen garden, Acer garden, a fernery, Japanese Tea garden, Cedar walk and formal lawns and parterre gardens, it provides the visitor with with with excellent starting blocks for their own little slice of paradise.

We have a fantastic range of trees, shrubs and mature perennials here at Bumbles, all you need is a dream…

Look forward to seeing you soon at Bumbles Plant Centre!
